Surprised

I knew I was bloated today, but man - up 2.6??!?!?!?! TOM is a bitch. Thats all Im going to say. I did not expect that at all. Im disapointed because I had a great weekend. I ate healthy and exercised consistently, and I did a lot of housework yesterday and worked up a sweat so I would have thought that would count for something. I havent been this high in about 3 weeks which just sucks.

I did have a good NSV on Friday though. I was at my friends house, and she had bought Cadbury mini eggs. I used to love those things passionately and would eat an entire bag in a sitting. So when she pulled them out, I thought, Id love to have a few. I grabbed a few and put one in my mouth. My first thought was, this really doesnt taste as good as I remember. It tasted so sweet and rich. I put the rest back in the bag which was pretty awesome considering how much I used to love them. Its good because that used to be a trigger food and one I could never eat in moderation. Now I have no desire to eat them at all. Its funny how our tastes change. Dont get me wrong, I still love chocolate, but what I actually just wanted to eat was a crisp salad. Who am I?!

Great NSV! I still haven't found a piece of chocolate I didn't like. :) I do find that I'm satisfied with ONE piece. Imagine that, we don't have to eat the whole bag. LOL

Your NSV is just what I needed to hear today after my close encounter with Reeces Eggs. You give me hope that someday, my tastes will really change too. It would change my life to not WANT that stuff! Congrats on coming so far :)

I am the same way. I love PB cups......hubby had one the other day and I had a bite.......WAY too sweet. If I am going to have chocolate these days, I will indulge in a small piece of heart healthy dark chocolate with my fresh fruit! Love that combo!

I have no control over what my body is going to do over PMS. I do have to say the months I am really drinking my water and exercising, the gain and bloat seems to be less :)

I hate TOM! Best to stay away from the scale during that time I find, as it fluctuates all over the place. Just keep doing what your doing and it will go back down.

And it is amazing how tastes change - just goes to show we get used to certain flavours and ways of eating, but it IS possible to change our ways!

I personally have a love/hate relationship with Cadbury mini eggs so I am shock, stunned and IMPRESSED that you can put them back in the bag. Good job! That kind of NSV shows that the scale really isn't as great of a measurement as we all think. ;)

Good for you! I've started enjoying dark chocolate (which I used to hate) much more than the sweeter milk chocolate and regular soda seems too sweet as well. It's good that we are replacing those high sugar items with some healthier choices.
