Games

Sometimes I feel like I play a game with the scale. It will be high, then low, but then back up high again. Its annoying!

I am up 2.2 and I cant tell you why. I ate really well this weekend, and even passed up on popcorn when my boyfriend and I went to the movies to see Gran Torino. So how in the world did I gain 2.2? You got me. Its probably TOM, or just my body playing these games, but its still hard to see sometimes.

I do feel a little messed up with this new work schedule. Since i am now eating breakfast at 5 am, I feel hungry for lunch at like 10, and dinner around 4. I feel pretty ravenous at strange times, and even though I still eat my healthy snacks, everything is just off. Im sure that my body will get the hang of this before the 5 weeks are over, but in the meantime, Ill just have to eat when Im hungry and not worry so much about the time.

I hear you, the scale has been driving me nuts as well! That's why I'm taking a step back from it as my next challenge, it should be interesting.

Anyway, I'm sure your new schedule is creating a little confusion for your body. Give yourself a couple of weeks and it will get used to its new eating times.

Me too! Except that my scale is telling me a story about how I've been letting it slide. It sounds like you are mastering your new schedule well, and you're aware. That's the first step!

Oh yes, the scale loves to play games!! I totally empathise, but don't let it beat you. The weird schedule might be a big part of it, your body probably just needs to adjust and will catch up with itself. Sleep and meal times can really screw with your body clock and weight can be linked to it. Keep up the good work and see what happens.

Yep, that scale she is the devil. I didn't even bother getting on her this morning because my rings were tight & I knew I was retaining water. So I just skipped it. Didn't want to know.

You are doing a great job, so don't sweat it!

I think that's a good idea...eat when you're hungry and try not to worry too much. Your body is probably adjusting the your new schedule and may be cranky about it. Keep up the faith :)

It's all part of learning to react to internal cues instead of external cues. You can do it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such an encouraging comment. Too many people are still very complacent about HFCS.

I'm on a weird food schedule too. It makes it rough because then I want to eat again late.
