Its Tuesday and that means its the Healthy You Challenge checkin. Since last Monday, I have lost 4 pounds! Pretty awesome in my opinion. Last Monday I was 177.6 and yesterday I weighed in at 173.6. Granted last weekend I was up due to gyros and bloating on behalf of TOM, but its still a loss.
Still not much to report on the exercise front. Still struggling. One of these weeks I will be able to say that I met my goal of 1X a week, but right now I am still not meeting that personal challenge.
Speaking of challenges, tomorrow will be a challenge for me. It is one of my coworkers birthday, and everyone wants to go out for lunch to this place that has really really good breakfast food. Normally I avoid going out to lunch at all costs, but this coworker is a friend and I would feel rude to not go. Obviously I will not be getting the strawberry waffles with whipped cream that I would normally get (and with a side of bacon). I know I can find some healthy choices, and plan to look at the menu online tonight to prepare myself. However, tomorrow is a weigh in day, and tomorrow is usually when I have a meal replacement shake. Problems because no matter what I get, even healthy, I will probably still be up for my weigh in. Also I will have to switch around my breakfast option to accomodate for my lunch because a meal replacement shake is not the best option and doesnt leave me much for dinner. In any case, I will make it work. It will just be a challenge.
I guess it does go to show that you can go out to eat and interact like a normal person and not blow your points, calories, or whatever it is that you choose to follow. Its all about the planning.
