I was pleasantly surprised when I got on the scale today. I didnt expect much, and with TOM starting, I thought if anything, I would be up. Surprisingly, I was down .8 to 158.4! Imagine that - just when I stopped caring so much about the scale, I see the loss I wanted to see for weeks.
The last time I was 158 was 5 weeks ago, so I am thrilled! Ill take it as a sign that mentally and physically I have the right thing going on. Im not doing anything differently, so maybe the exercise is finally starting to pay off. I certainly am not stressing any less since things at my work are more chaotic than ever. I feel crummy too with this cold still raging, but I guess my body is still thanking me for all this hard work with the exercise.
Whatever the case, Im happy!

YAY!! Your persistence paid off!
Awesome, i knew it would come off!
isn't it bizarre? the moment you stop caring, you lose! WHAT IN THE WORLD. : ) congrats.
That's great news! You may find you move slower as you approach your ultimate goal, but this just shows you'll get there in the end. :)
as with all things it seems some days.
the minute I let go.
hold on LOOSELY instead of clutching--it finally works out!
:)
It's like that old wives tale:
a watched kettle never boils.
You look away and then suddenly steam!
Well done. Persevere.

letting go of that stress certainly had something to do with it ;)
Works every time! (I'm especially glad in this case!)
