So-So

Down from Monday, but still up. I am feeling so-so about that. TOM is likely the factor, but I still rarely am up this much when it hits. I still have not been doing too well with exercise, and I know that is probably hurting me. I have been getting home later and later, and by the time I eat dinner, I crash into bed. Last night I ate dinner and then tried to stay awake to see Obama's speech, but didnt make it.

Which brings me to source of my happiness today - Obama won!! Soooooooooooo freaking happy. I felt even more proud of my generation when I saw all those young faces at his rally. THAT is who voted for him, and I think we made a statement. One commentator on CNN said that the younger generation sees no race, no gender, no sexual preference, unlike other generations and I liked that. It is so true, as I would have voted for him if he were purple and I wouldnt care. Im glad that finally we can get some change in this country- that we elected someone who is a good human being and will do some good while protecting my rights.

Sorry to hear the scale is up. Sounds like once TOM leaves, and you can manage to squeeze in some exercise it'll drop. You sound like a working maniac..what do you do?
And I'll second that I'm VERY happy that Obama won. And everything you said is how I felt. Makes me feel great to know that I helped elect someone that I feel is going to have a really tough road ahead of him but I believe he is going to make some really great changes!!! Maybe in 4yrs. we'll decide to re-elect him for another 4. LOL If that's the case let's pray he has done much more for our country than Bush ever did!!!

I agree. I don't feel like we see those differences either.

I'm sorry to hear about you being 'up'.

Is work easing at all yet? x

I SO HOPE THAT IS TRUE ABOUT THE NEXT GENERATION (as much as it makes me feel old that it isnt my generation :))

I want more/better for my daughter.

Yay for Obama! I was so happy he won and I think he will do a lot for our country. I agree that the younger generations aren't as harsh towards all those unnecessary labels put on people, which not only mean nothing should not be used to judge someones performance. I think America made the right decision.

Hi Heather,
Hey a loss is a loss, even if from just Monday - And a loss WITH tom? I'll be impressed for you :) You're working hard and its really easy to start feeling down on yourself. I do it all the time, but remember that you make all those harder choices for yourself. Why counter balance all the positive decision making with negative thoughts? You're amazing, and I'm sure those numbers will fall as soon as tom is gone.
Obama is awesome!!!

I'm excited about the possibilities the election brings, too. What I especially like about this election is the cross-section of people who supported Obama. It truly was a diverse group, and that's what it's going to take for success. I'm ready to do my part. :)

I feel a profound sense of hope for my future and especially for the future of the younger generations. This is an amazing time to be alive.

Although I don't share your excitement about Obama lol, I just wanted to stop by and say hello! It looks like you are still at a great weight and hope you are enjoying your weight loss! :)

I am so happy that Obama won, and it was one of the instances in my life when I wish I were American :-)
Weight-wise, I was wondering: are you getting enough sleep with all the work-related craziness? I always gain weight when I don't sleep enough...
