I would like to announce.....

I would like to announce that today I have officially lost 50 pounds! Hooray for me! Very thrilled, especially since I was up so much on Wednesday. Check out that nice badge at the bottom of the page :)

I have been hovering around 48-49 pounds now for some time, and I am so glad that I finally hit the big 50! Either Wednesday was a fluke or I was doing something right these last few days because I weighed in at my new low, 157.8. Slowly but surely, Im getting there.

Things are still stressful though. Work was just horrible today, and my boyfriend and I are still arguing. He wants me to quit my job and find one closer to where I live. He is absolutely right in what he wants, and I want it too, but its not that easy and he just isnt being supportive of what I need right now. Should make for an interesting long weekend as we are both mad at each other.

But in all honesty, I am so happy that I have hit this number. Sure its just a number, but its an impressive number. I have worked hard for over a year and its a big accomplishment. There isnt day that passes when I dont think that this is worth it. Everything that I have done and experienced to lose this weight has been worth it.

And thanks for being so supportive of my journey while you've been chugging away with your own. You are truly special. :)

And don't worry about the job/boyfriend thing. It will all work out. Relax and try to enjoy the weekend. :)

It's such a great accomplishment you have made Heather! I bet it's strange to look back now and remember a time when it felt impossible, and now, here you are! Victory! I still have a ways to go but people like you are what really help me on the days I feel like I will never get there. On the arguing note.....just love eachother and try to be happy...life is too short to waste a day being angry ;) I hope you have a great peaceful long weekend!

That number is very impressive. Congrats!

Sorry your dealing with so much stress. I know what it is like to constantly b*tch about work and not get the support you need from your significant other. Sometimes they just don't understand.

Even if your work life isn't great, you've made a great accomplishment this year and you should be very proud of that.

Oh, CONGRATULATIONS! A 50 pound loss deserves at least $50 worth of celebration - shoes, pants, mani/pedi - something! Enjoy it!! You've worked so hard.
