Healthy You Challenge Week 14

I am up 10 pounds!! April Fools!

Well hello! I was MIA yesterday, but I went out to dinner with a friend. However, I was still able to get my weighin in, and while I am up .4 from Friday (167.8) I am still down 1.2 from last week. So, not too shabby.

I exercised 3 times this past week, so that I am also pleased with. Unfortunately I cant juggle work, exercise, and friends, so yesterday I did not get my 4th workout in, but I also havent been much of a friend to anyone lately and wanted to spend some quality time with my best friend. It sucks that there is just not enough time in a day for all 3, but thats the way it works I guess.

I had a great NSV this week too..I realized I finally weigh less than my boyfriend!! It has been so long since I could say that. When we first met I was about 10 pounds less than him and it bothered me for years that he, a man, weighed more than me. Well no longer!

So just hanging in here for another week..hopeing to be at 166 by the end of the week. If I can lose even a pound a week, I would be thrilled. Now that my TOM bloat is subsiding, it could be possible.

Hi there! :)

I just wandered over from the Healthy You Challenge. You look lovely in that picture. :) It looks like we're shooting for around the same goal, although you're a little taller than me! But congratulations on the awesome success so far! 40 pounds is GREAT!

And good luck shedding a few more now that TOM bloat is over. :) Nice to blog-meet you!

Take care!

You are turning into a regular gym bunny! I'm so proud OF you and FOR you! Not too shabby, indeed.

Hey--you need to have some balance and I think it's AWESOME that you went out with your friend. We can't always spend our lives in the gym or obsessing about what we eat..

As to weighing less than your BF--that is certainly another goal we share. It's always my secret shame when I see my husband on a scale and I see how much more than him I weigh...but that will change one day, I'm sure!

Great job. It is so difficult to find the balance, but when you do, it's fantastic. You're making great choices. What a week.

You are going to be at 166 any day now. I hope you had a nice outing with your friend. It's hard to balance it all, isn't it!!?!?
Great job with the exercising!!! You are doing great! :)

Great job getting your workouts in. 3 times is great for your busy schedule! I was the same way about weighing more than my husband. And at one point after I had my son, I weighed the same as many football players! Not a happy place to be. So glad I'm not there any more.

On your goal weight--when I hit the weight I am now and deceided to maintain for a while, someone told me that it's not the end, it's just the beginning. That just because I've reached a certain number on the scale doesn't mean I'm done working on my body. It's a life long project! So the same for you--you will get to 160, and then it's just the beginning.

Have a great rest of the week, Heather!

Hey sounds like you are doing great! Sometimes fitting in time with a friend is just as important to our health (emotionally) as fitting in exercise. And woohoo on the NSV!! I've always had a thing about dating guys that were bigger than me.. but the thing is, I'm not attracted to obese men! LOL Good thing I'm losing weight...
