Looking Great in 2008 Week #18

A new low...178.4!!! I am just completely amazed at myself. Not only am I down 1.4 from Mon, but I am down 4.2 from last week! Granted, last week I was up due to overeating on new years, but man, anyone who doubts that they can get the holiday weight off fast should realize that by eating on plan for a week they can see amazing results. I also switched up some meals, meaning, I made some meals I havent made in a while. I also had breakfast for dinner a few nights as a different meal and so I think all of this is really helping.

I am also soooo close to my mini goal! I have 10 days left and I am pretty sure I wont have a problem making that as long as nothing crazy happens.

Its also crazy to think that I only have 18 more pounds to lose before I am at my goal. wow...when you think of it that way, it doesnt seem like so much. Its crazy to think of myself at my goal. Its also hard for me to imagine because sometimes when I look in the mirror, I still think that I look fat. Its kind of ironic, because for so long I knew I was a thin person trapped in a bigger body, but now that this thin person is slowly coming out, I am having a hard time really seeing her. I guess those are some issues I will have to deal with when I make my goal and can take some focus off of losing weight, and more on emotional aspects of how to maintain my weight.

Feeling less sick today, but not 100% so once again, sorry if I am not making the rounds to visit blogs as usual, but Im still trying!

Awesome girl! And yes, changing up your meal plan helps your metabolism (so I've been told), it's something I try to do regularly, but is hard to do so being single and living alone. Glad you're feeling a bit better!

hi heather- Glad you are feeling better! I read back a few posts and really enjoyed them. I love going into a new "decade" as I would call it. My husband still doesn't know my weight (I know--goofy, huh..after seeing 2 babies born,etc..he still can't see the scale)..but I always share with him when i would get to a new decade!70's, 60's..of course it's been 6 years since I was actually losing weight. I did JC and got down to ...160..shh.and here I am 30 lbs more 6 years later..anyway. You are toooo cute with the 70's, ect and I will be cheering you on as you move towards the 60's!!!!! You have lost so much already..oh how great you must feel. Mini goals are a good idea. Maybe I will set one...for my 1/2 birthday..well, from the pics I see on your blog, you are beautiful and I hope you can see that. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!THank you for the MOTIVATION..loved reading about trying on a shirt at Express..I am plus size on top and can't shop where some of my friends stop..but they are all kind and go with me to "my section"...also you have a nice support system with that fella that loves you with a few extra lbs or without..Give him a hug. ;)

As they say in the political world: you have the "big mo"! Good for you.

You'll be at goal before you know it! I know you were questioning yourself since you're center closed, but you're doing so well!

Hope you feel better!

Congrats on your loss. I love breakfast for dinner and I always find it keeps my dinner points low. I too am close to my goal, but feel that sometimes it is so far away. Sometimes I think I am getting comfortable with where I am so it makes me lazy in what I eat. I am working on it though and would love to be at goal by the end of March and my spring break. Good luck this week!!
