Reason to Celebrate

Despite this being a rough week, it has come to a fantastic close. Amazingly I am down a pound from Wednesday down to a new low of 156.8! I almost couldnt believe my eyes. Could be a fluke, but for now, Ill enjoy seeing that number.

But the biggest celebration comes from the fact that I completed my project today, after months of hard work, long days, and major stress. Despite it all, I was definitely challenged in a good way and now really realize what I am capable of. I think I have earned a lot of respect in my company (this client is huge), and it feels really good. I will be having a few glasses of wine tonight to celebrate, but then probably passing out in sheer exhaustion!

Wow, so many good news all at once! [Don't you wish they were more evenly spread out, ha ha :-)]
I'm very happy for you, you have shown time and time again how determined you are, and how you don't give up until you get to your goals. Way to go!

Congrats Heather - on both the weight and work fronts.

Enjoy your weekend.

Oh, and I totally know what you mean about having passion for your work. I do think that is the ideal situation - to love what you do so much that you'd do it without being paid for it. I can think of nothing better....I just think that sometimes when you turn a passion into a career, you are at risk of losing some of the passion. I think that's what happened to me...plus I found out I didn't like dealing with the people end of the passion.

Cheers-
