It takes time, I know its not what you want to hear right now. Everyone is right about the exercise, maybe some cardio and strength training 3 times a week, nothing too demanding, just get your body moving. You can whine if you want, I'll always listen.Diana Swallow https://www.blogger.com/profile/06617104284642930333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016171802074533735.post-14620610398070814982008-02-21T15:49:00.000-06:002008-02-21T15:49:00.000-06:00It is a long process but you already knew that! You can get passed the plateau!juliabjerkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15493303558012751696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016171802074533735.post-75578246187608974282008-02-21T13:30:00.000-06:002008-02-21T13:30:00.000-06:00Look at it like an awesome show of how dedicated y...Look at it like an awesome show of how dedicated you are to your new lifestyle - lots of people can lose weight and gain it all back, but few people really muscle through the tough times to get to their goals!

... and I would be remiss if I didn't advocate adding exercise into your current plan! That might be just what the doctor ordered!Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05222393288777791912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016171802074533735.post-26516581019021476852008-02-21T09:35:00.000-06:002008-02-21T09:35:00.000-06:00You know, there's this myth that thinner people ha...You know, there's this myth that thinner people have a faster metabolism that fat people. It's rubbish. In order for the metabolism of a fat person to accomplish all it needs to do in order to keep the body going, it works much faster in a fat person. Your metabolism slows down when you lose weight, especially when you are restricting your calorie intake. That is why it gets harder to lose the last bit of weight and so many people stall so close to the finish line. The only way to accelerate your metabolism is to exercise and keep exercising. If you don't, you will not only fail to lose the last bit of weight, but you will gain weight. Exercise is an incredibly important aspect of health.

Get moving, girl!Hanliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16476650601531649816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016171802074533735.post-76012479995151688202008-02-21T08:39:00.000-06:002008-02-21T08:39:00.000-06:00At this point, I have been able to lose pretty con...At this point, I have been able to lose pretty consistently without exercise. But I know that it will come to a point that changing what I eat alone will no longer give me the results I want. It is very possible that you are at this point now. I'm not saying that this is necessarily true in your case, but sometimes when I'm at a "plateau" it's really just me being a little lax with the program. Not keeping track of things as diligently as I did on day one. Like I said, that may not be the case for you, but it's just something to think about & evaluate.Tealehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01994083331228276203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016171802074533735.post-51139632420607288942008-02-21T00:50:00.000-06:002008-02-21T00:50:00.000-06:00I exercised for several months and lost very littl...I exercised for several months and lost very little. It took changing how I ate. So yeah, just eating good probably won't work either. You kind of have to have both. :-)

But I'm also a slow loser even when I'm doing both, so go ahead and whine a little. But remember that insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. ;-)
Path to HealthJourno June aka MamaBearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04147813827912805263noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016171802074533735.post-46235986735788105802008-02-21T00:36:00.000-06:002008-02-21T00:36:00.000-06:00Get to exercising, it will make a difference!
