I gained probably 40-50 pounds in the last year since being with Mike. Pizza was our big downfall.... too tired to cook? Let's order pizza. No groceries? Let's order pizza. No clean dishes? Let's order pizza.... and so on and so forth...
Next time you're going to be spending a weekend at his place, plan ahead. Go pick up a bag of groceries to keep at his place so you can make yourself some healthy things... or offer to make dinner for the two of you. Yes, it definately takes more effort than just going out, but it will be worth it to you in the end!Tealehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01994083331228276203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7016171802074533735.post-92136613942094069232007-10-08T22:05:00.000-05:002007-10-08T22:05:00.000-05:00Hey lady...thanks for stopping by my blog...clicke...Hey lady...thanks for stopping by my blog...clicked the link and have to say....you are not the first or last woman that's been suckered into the weight loss trap by a man!

Not that it's fair to blame the men we love--it's not. But one of the big reasons my weight ballooned recently was because I..dum dum dum...got married.

I lost 60 pounds before our wedding and was at my lowest weight in a long, long time. But I got married and in an effort to be a fabulous wife, cooked ridiculously fattening meals that my husband loved (And my husband is like your boyfriend--can eat all he wants without gaining an ounce).

I matched him practically bite for bite. We had huge lazy weekend breakfasts (something I never did single!) and in an effort again, to be SuperWife, I substituted my daily workouts for cleaning, laundry, and doing my best Martha Stewart impersonation.

After a year and a half of marriage, I'd gained back practically all of the weight I'd lost for the wedding. I had a few half-hearted attempts at weight loss again, but my heart wasn't in it.

The good news is my heart is in it now, my hubby is supportive and I've learned that being a great wife has nothing to do with having dinner ready the moment he walks in the door. (And it also means I don't have to match him bite for bite).

Good luck as you continue your efforts...and don't let him sway you too much :)*ccc*https://www.blogger.com/profile/01938403363974512245noreply@blogger.com
